About Us

Focus is placed on improving the skills and techniques of dancers, in addition to learning new steps. Equally important are the friendships and team player attitudes that develop within the class. These skills along with determination, commitment and discipline go beyond dance skills and have proven to be invaluable years later to many people in their ‘life after dancing’.

Our dancers in Prague are associated with the Rinceiori Irish Dance Club (www.rinceoiri.cz) and in Warsaw, with the Dunmore School of Irish dancing
(www.dunmore.pl).

The Delaney Academy of Irish Dance was established by Lisa Delaney-Galal, ADCRG, TCRG in January 2000 in London, England.

From small beginnings, the academy has since expanded to over 150 students in London, Prague and Warsaw. As the academy has grown, so too has the teaching team in London which has now expanded to include Corinne Delaney, Annette Cuddy and Aoife Broderick.

Our aim is to enable all dancers to reach their potential in Irish dancing both in team dancing and solos, and to love every minute of it! We want dancers to enjoy coming to classes, going to competitions and giving performances.
